Based on the web report link provided in the Reading & Study folder for Module/Week 8, one can conclude that the NAS report is very controversial. In this forum, you will choose one specific topic to read and research in the report. You must find one scholarly resource corresponding to your chosen subtopic within NAS Report and incorporate this research alongside the report in order to synthesize your own conclusions regarding the topic.
NOTE: The 328 page report does not need to be read in its entirety; only a single topic needs to be selected within the report.
Example: Coroner vs. Medical Examiner system. The NAS report suggests the Coroner system be eliminated. How would this affect small town America that has no M.E. system and larger cities like Las Vegas (Clarke County)?
