It is undisputed that for the successful reform of offenders a community approach is needed, yet part of our jobs in this field is to minimize risk to the community. One of the most valuable resources in our communities is the church. While churches do often want to reach out to offenders they are also concerned about risks. How can we balance this? How does the Bible teach us to deal with this?
